In-Home Behavioral Health Services

At this level of care, services are provided in an individual's residence in accordance with agreement(s) between CONTINUUM and managed care organizations. A physician referral and managed care group authorization is required before a patient is evaluated for In-Home Behavioral Health Services. The services may include individual and family counseling, medication monitoring by psychiatrically trained nursing staff, or early intervention services. The goal of the service is to promote continued family support and involvement through developing skills in parenting and/or adapting to new roles and functions in care-providing.
